Mel’s Sport Shop is looking for an Archery Technician & Sales Associate to provide skilled and high quality service to our customers with their archery needs.

Qualifications
- Knowledge of archery manufacturers including a variety of model specifications
- Ability to set up, troubleshoot, repair, and adjust modern compound and crossbows
- Knowledge of local archery demands
- Experience with varied archery services
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work assigned schedule which may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Prior retail experience preferred
Duties
- Assist customers in the selection of archery products and accessories
- Provide bow service including: stringing bows, tuning bows, minor repair of bows, and setting up bows with accessories
- Assist in developing inventory and purchasing strategies
- Stock shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise # Carefully follow instructions per specific requests of the customer, while maintaining safety requirements
- Communicate process of repair and suggestions for ongoing maintenance
- This position will be located in the hunting area and will need to assist throughout the store
- Other duties that may be assigned
